Lakes Entrance: There are plenty of Trevally and Mullet being caught on our town jetties. Luderick are biting off Ferryman’s jetty and for best results weed and worm are being used. Bunga Arm and Eastern Beach are taking lures and pilchards for Salmon. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for Pinkies Nanagi and Morwong.
Lake Tyers: Large Bream and 60cm Flathead are biting around Cameron’s Arm, Toorloo Arm and towards Blackfellow’s Arm on Bass Yabbies. Small Bream are biting on pilchards.
Mitchell River: From Shadoof Lodge to Grassy Banks and down towards Two Bells, Bream are taking spider crabs, worm and prawns.
Tambo River: Rough Road, Punt house Point for Bream, for best results with peeled prawns and worm.
Nicholson: The Bridge and Little Cliff’s and towards the river mouth for Bream, they are taking worm and prawn.
Metung: Shaving Point, town jetties, the Boardwalk and Box’s Creek are taking Bream, Mullet and Perch on prawn and pippies.
Paynesville: Newlands Arm, Duck Arm and Bluff Head for Bream. The Strait and jetties for Mullet, on worm and prawn.
Hollands Landing: Tom’s Creek and Jones Bay for Bream. Griffin Point and down to Storm Point on prawn and worm.
Marlo: The Brodribb for Bream and Mullet on shell, prawn and worm. Small Mulloway are taking on the jetty. Salmon and Tailor are biting on the beach on lures, pilchards and poppers. Gummies and Flathead offshore on squid and pilchards.
Tamboon Inlet: Peach Tree Creek, The Camp Site and Furnell Landing are producing Bream, Perch and Luderick on prawn, worm and lures.
Bemm River: Bream are biting in the lake on sandworm. For best results use lures for Salmon. The Entrance is still open.
Mallacoota: The Top Lake and Double Creek Arm are taking Bream on prawn and yabbies. Luderick are biting on the Main Wharf and Fisheries Jetty on incoming tide on weed. On the main beach Salmon are taking on poppers and pilchards. The odd Trevally is also about.
Omeo High Country: Season Closed.
