Lakes Entrance Fishing Report

Lakes Entrance: There are plenty of Trevally and Mullet being caught on our town jetties with pilchards and prawns being the best bait used. Bunga Beach has 3kg Salmon which are taking pilchards. Off shore at Six Mile for Pinkies, Nanagi and Morwong.

Lake Tyers: Bream are biting up to Cameron’s Arm and Devils Hole on shrimp and prawns. Burnt Bridge are taking Flathead and Bream on soft plastics and lures.

Mitchell River: Grassy Banks, The Cut and towards The Mouth of the river for Bream. From the Wy Yung Lind Bridge, heading upwards to the upper reaches towards Picnic Point for Bream, taking worm.

Tambo River: 32-36cm Bream are taking live shrimp at Rough Road and Punt House Point.

Nicholson: Bream are biting between the Two Bridges, the Second Fence and to Thumb Point on shrimp, worm and prawn.

Metung: The Boardwalk up to Chinaman’s Creek for Bream on prawn and shrimp.

Paynesville: Town Jetties and in the Strait towards the Cruiser Club for Bream on prawn and vibes.

Hollands Landing: The Clayton Fishing Club Comp this weekend. Seacombe’s Landing, the Wood Pile and Tom’s Creek are taking Bream on live shrimp and worm.

Marlo: There are plenty of Mullet, Perch and Bream midstream on worm. Salmon and Tailor are taking pilchards on the surf. Gummies, Pinkies and Flathead offshore on pilchards and blue bait.

Tamboon Inlet: Bream, Luderick, Perch and Tailor are biting at Pelican Point, Old Man Point and towards the surf beach on prawn, worm and vibes. Salmon are also biting on the surf beach.

Bemm River: Salmon are biting in the channel taking metal lures and prawn. Luderick are taking worm, and Bream are biting on sandworm, prawn and vibes.

Mallacoota: Up to 1kg Salmon are taking on the surf on poppers and pilchards. The best hot spot is Harrison’s Channel for Luderick, Yellow Fin Bream and Black Bream on prawn and yabbies. The Top Lake for Bream. Tailor are biting on lures.

Omeo High Country: Season Closed.
