Lakes Entrance: The Myers Street Jetty for trevally with white bait and pilchard. King George Whiting are about the islands and Nungurner Jetty area, taking pipis and peeled prawn. The surf beaches for salmon on pilchard and poppers. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for morwong, snapper and a mixed variety of fish.

Lake Tyers: The best spots for good size bream are at Blackfellows Arm and Trident Arm, with peeled prawn as preferred bait. Try the surf for salmon.

Mitchell River: From the Butter Factory and down to The Cut for good size bream, best results with prawn, mussels, pipis, sandworm and soft plastics. Perch are around the highway bridge area taking diving lures. Picnic Point for sea run trout on diving lures and soft plastics.

Tambo River: From Punt House and down to the river mouth for good size bream with shrimp as the best bait.

Nicholson: From The Little Cliffs and all the way down to the river mouth for bream on shrimp and prawn. Bag limits have been reached.

Metung: Nungurner Jetty and around Goat Island, the Barrier and other islands for king George whiting with pipis and peeled prawn.

Paynesville: The Strait is best for bream and mullet with pipis and prawn as preferred bait.

Hollands Landing: Tom’s Creek, Griffin Point and Hollands Landing are the best spots for bream taking worm, prawn and shrimp.

Marlo: The surf beach for salmon, some tailor hitting lures. Offshore is producing a mixed variety of fish. Bream around Bream Point and the islands with prawn as the best bait. Luderick are around the groynes.

Bemm River: Tailor are cruising the channel taking lures. The river is best for bream with prawn and worm. Some salmon on the surf taking poppers and pilchard.

Tamboon Inlet: Peters Rock is producing good size trevally with pilchard. Bream are active around the football ground taking peeled prawn.

Mallacoota: Harrisons Channel and the Bottom Lake for luderick, bream and salmon. The Top Lake and The Narrows for flathead with pilchard and live bait giving the best results.

Omeo High Country: Bundara, Livingstone and Mitta Mitta Rivers are working well for trout. Best results using lures, spinner and soft plastics.
