Lakes Entrance: Reeve Channel is producing plenty of Salmon and the “odd” Flathead, on pilchard and hard bodied lures. Eastern Beach has Salmon striking metal lures.
Lake Tyers: Good size Flathead have been landed north of Trident Arm using soft plastics. Bream are biting in Black Snake Bight on peeled prawn and sandworm, at dusk and dawn. Salmon to 1kg are “on the go” from No.2 Jetty to the opening on the outgoing tide.
Mitchell River: Bream have been caught in the Backwater and around Shadoof Lodge on prawn and soft plastics. Estuary Perch are still around the Highway Bridge, taking vibes and squidgees.
Tambo River:The Sardine Flat area has Bream being landed on sandworm and prawn.
Nicholson: Good size Bream have schooled at the “Car Bodies”. Sandworm are taking most fish.
Metung: The Pub Jetty is still good for Bream and Salmon, using sandworm, prawn and silver lures.
Paynesville: Bream and Mullet are biting in the strait on sandworm. However many are undersize. “Gummies are active on the beach.
Hollands Landing: Toms Creek has Bream taking sandworm and peeled prawn.
Marlo: Both Rivers are fishing well, with schools of Bream, Luderick and Mullet, plus a few Estuary Perch. Best bait is sandworm, prawn and crab. The beach has plenty of Salmon.
Tamboon Inlet: The Camp Site Jetty has Bream taking sandworm and prawn.
Bemm River: Most Bream are upriver, around Morgan Road, with a few good size ones in the Lake. Hard bodied lures are producing fish. Tailor are in the Channel, taking vibes.
Mallacoota: The Top Lake and Genoa River have Bream to 1kg being landed on prawn. The Bottom Lake has Flathead biting on soft plastics. A few Trevally and Mulloway are around, fish fillets have caught these. Luderick are scarce, but are at Captains Point.
