Lakes Entrance: King George Whiting and Salmon are still being caught in Reeve Channel at Kalimna. Luderick are being taken off the jetties. Eastern Beach has good size Salmon on metal lures.
Lake Tyers: Large Bream and Trevally are biting during high tide at Cameron’s Arm and around the channel, using hard bodied lures and prawn. Flathead are cruising around Blackfellow’s Arm and Tern Island. Soft plastics are catching fish.
Mitchell River: The backwater and Shadoof Lodge area are producing Bream on green “squidgees” and peeled prawn.
Tambo River:Strait Six is the best spot for good size Bream, using crab and prawn.
Nicholson: Fishing downstream to “Little Cliffs” has produced Bream. Best bait is prawn and shrimp.
Metung: King George Whiting have been biting well around Tambo Bay in Lake King, on shrimp and mussel. Bream have been landed around Shaving Point.
Paynesville: The jetties are good for Luderick on weed. Flathead have been caught at the back of Raymond Island on soft plastics. Newland Arm has some large Bream taking prawn.
Hollands Landing: Bull Bay has good size Bream taking sandworm and shrimp.
Marlo: The platforms on the Snowy River are fishing well, with Bream all the way to the highway bridge at Orbost. The rock groynes have Luderick lurking around. Some large Flathead have been taken off the Marlo jetty on soft plastics.
Tamboon Inlet: Fishing has been productive between the rocks and river mouth, with Mullet, Bream and Flathead taking various baits.
Bemm River: Bream are biting in the lake and river with sandworm and peeled prawn being best bait. A few Flathead are chasing soft plastics.
Mallacoota: Plenty of Bream are in the Bottom Lake, with peeled prawn catching fish. The Top Lake has some Flathead feasting on poddy mullet. Trevally and Bream have been landed off the fishing platforms. Luderick are still at the main wharf.
