Lake Tyers Beach is 10km from Lakes Entrance on the Northern side. Plenty of short coastal walks displaying the local fauna and beach views.
Directions:
Make your way to the Lake Tyers Beach Tavern, at the end of Lake Tyers Beach Road.
To the left of the carpark, you will see a walking track starting right on the Lakes edge.
Follow this track for a wonderful short walk around to the boat ramp.
You can retrace your steps, or follow the roads back to the carpark. Very hard to get lost, as Lake Tyers is a small community.
Lookout for pelicans, eagles, terns and a variety of other bird species.
