The Folly

The Folly offers a true country escape conveniently situated between Metung and Lakes Entrance in the peaceful hamlet of Nungurner.

With access to the Gippsland Lakes just 4 minutes’ drive away, this is the perfect base for your next holiday, offering a secluded setting to completely unwind and relax.

This impressive home offers master bedroom, one bathroom plus an upstairs loft, so is ideal for a couple or a family seeking a rural retreat with wide open spaces to ride, roam and explore. Constructed in the style of a Canadian chalet, the home exudes warmth and a welcoming feel on arrival, with an open plan living area that is visually grand and inspiring, and all yours to enjoy!

Stairs lead you up to the loft bedroom (a kid’s paradise!) with 4 single beds and plenty of floor space to stretch out and play. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and lots of cupboard space if you're enjoying a longer stay. Deluxe hotel quality linen and towels are provided for each guest.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove top, wood fired (Esse) oven and dishwasher. In the warmer months, enjoy a BBQ on the outdoor patio as you gaze over rolling hills in this idyllic peaceful setting.

Guests of The Folly have exclusive access to the entire property, adjacent double garage and three acres of manicured pastures. There is a small secured pet enclosure adjacent to the property (approximately 3 x 4 metres), which is suitable for small dogs. Pets that are clean and flea free are welcome indoors, just not in bedrooms.

Living “Off-Grid”

The Folly has been designed to have a low impact on the environment. Being "off-grid" means the property relies on the sun for power, and rain for water. The oven is wood-fired, with wood provided.

Rates range from $300-$400 per night for up to 6 guests, depending on time of year.
Add extra $25 per guest per night (adult or child).
$200 security deposit required (or valid credit card number)
